“And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32

While the cause of bulimia is uncertain, Christians know that this is a demonic attack of the enemy into the Body of many believers. The power of vanity has reached its best in the last years where many people, especially young girls and boys suffer metal disorders that lead them to purge the food to pursuit weight loss. This inner-pain causes them to suffer and live a life of fear and shame.

We know the truth and the truth speaks about the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and the pride of life cause people to fall into the prison of personal and corporate greed. When the body becomes an idol the results are painful.

We humbly bring this prayer before the Lord and believe that those that are affected by this demonic desire will be freed. Let us all be reminded that those young women and that suffer this mental disorder tend to be part of those high rates of infertility and men fight to get attention by suffering losses.

Let us pray,

Dear Lord and Father of all,

We come before your presence and recognize we need your love and mercy to heal the hearts of these young boys and girls that are bound by false imaginations, and prideful yearning desires. We repent for this sin among us and ask you for forgiveness. We plead the Blood of Jesus over those that are affected by any eating disorders and command this strong man of rejection to leave them. We firmly believe that God is able to set them free without humiliation or sorrows. We cancel any plans of the enemy that long to mutilate the Body of these young ones to satisfy his needs of pride, fear and anger. Be faith we rebuke the power of these lies and command them to lose them now in Jesus’ Name. We speak great health in all our youth, young men and women and called them humble, favoured and blessed.

Amen.
